It has been such a long time since I have been able to write
anything and I have really missed that.
As some of you know I have been having a lot of weird problems
with my yes the past several months with no answers of what was wrong. Many
have been praying for me and the past few days I have been doing much better,
so I decided to press on and write today as my way of praising the Father for
my gift of sight.
It is the pagan season of Easter…. And that bothers me a lot.
When I was a child the worst rituals and blood sacrifices were done during this
time of year. All of the rituals practiced in the churches today are of pagan
origin and have nothing to do with what Christ did for us. I tend to lose my
focus and grasp of the crucifixion during this time of year because of all the
hoopla and pony shows.
One brother in the faith reminded me about what the death and resurrection
of Christ was all about. He quoted something I wrote last summer.
“He
died to show us how far reaching His love was for us. Even though we basically
rejected this humble God/Man and even though we tortured and killed Him, He
still loves us and forgives us. Not only does He love and forgive us, He needed
to show us that He really could not be killed and He is above all other gods.
Because He is immortal, eternal and real, Jesus came to give us a visual of God
the Creator and a way to touch and reach what we cannot grasp in our puny
mortal minds. What God would let you not only try and kill him, but forgive you
in the process? The only thing He asks of us is our love and by loving and
forgiving others you love Him.”
This is what I needed to remember and keep in my heart and what
I am passing on to anyone who reads these words.
I pray this touches each one of you in a special way and I
pray I will be writing many more blog entries in the coming days. Thank you all
for your faithful prayers.
Much love always,
Judy

Judy,
Good to see you back...
And thanks - We do all need to be reminded of what He did for us!
