Hi all...
I woke up to some awesome weather this morning. Cool and sunny with a soothing breeze.....just the perfect way to start a week off right.
I came down with a cold the end of last week and was feeling pretty rough for a few days, but thanks to a few of you out there who have taken the time to send me supplements and info on stuff to keep me healthy I am kicking this cold in record speed. It is the first cold I have had since the first of the year and I can tell the difference in how my immune system is kicking in faster and better. Many thanks to you all who have helped get me in a healthier place.
Anyway as I went out this morning to tend to my critters the cool, clear air felt soooooo good! I could tell my animals were enjoying it as well.
The reason I keep talking about it is because it just made me feel so good to be alive. Does that make sense?
Sometimes things just get so hard on this planet that I forget how good a deep breath can feel and how a cool breeze can feel so wonderful on my face. I forget that it is OK to be glad I am alive and enjoying my place on planet earth.
Hard it can be..no doubt about it however, life is precious and to be enjoyed and valued.
I read a post from a doomsday writer the other day and he was saying how he could not understand how people could be enjoying life when so many bad things were happening all around. How they seemed to be having a 'Party' like attitude. He was disgusted by their lack of discernment and he was feeling so bad and had been in prayer all week feeling the pit of doom all around. Truthfully I was ready to go hang myself after I read his post. I felt his despair and anger at all the clueless people and wondered if I needed to get the sack cloth and ashes out for myself.
But then when I went out this morning it kind of hit me....
I know things are hard...I know things are not right...I know people are basically clueless....I know how bad things can get and are getting on this planet...
however, I also know that our Father is still in control. He said not to worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow take care of itself.....He said there is a time for everything and a purpose for everything under heaven... He said He would never leave me or forsake me....
He created this planet and all the wonderful things on it. The cool breezes that sooth our faces, the fresh air and clear skies...and yes we still have that in spite in chem-trails....the beautiful mountains, streams, oceans, and prairies....
The laughter of little children and the soft cheeks of babies. The beautiful colors of fall and the smell of flowers. The soft hand of an old woman who has cared for many in her life.
There are so many wonderful things still on this planet that it seems a horrible thing to forget about all there is.
I do not think it glorifies or Father when all we do is cry and wail at all the bad only to forget all of the good He has given us.
Taking the time to enjoy life is not a bad thing to feel awful about. Taking the time to sing, dance or have a picnic is not a sin. Taking the time to take a walk and really enjoy nature or hike a trail or drive to look at the wonderful changing foliage of fall is not a bad thing at all.
It does not mean you are indifferent to the pain of this world.... it just means you are alive....And did not our Savior die for our sins so we could have life? Eternal life begins when you ask Him into your heart, not when your flesh dies.
Life on this planet is precious.... take the time to smell the roses He has given us.....
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: 'For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' No, in all these things we are more thanconquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:35-39 NIV
A place in an ever constant state of change.... as I am always changing, growing and learning. Thank you for stopping in. New Motto: If life gives you crap, make compost and grow a garden!

For your Information....
My dear brother in Christ left this post on 'comments' and I felt it was worth posting up front... so here is it...
Steven Garren has left a new comment on your post "Morning....":
Judy, if we as Christians are unoffensive and have no enemies in standing for the truth what good are we? All we should do is speak the truth in love and leave the results to God. Some of the stuff that goes on in "church" today is out of the pit of hell. I am not in position to judge whether of not TRUE tongues is manifested today in places where the gospel is virtually unknown. But in America where we are flooded with Bibles and the gospel tongues are totally unnecessary.

Now with saying all of that I will post this for today...

WHAT GOD DESIRES
We think of sacrifices as being noble, but God does not always agree with such a conclusion. God desires something of greater quality than sacrifices. He desires to see mercy that comes out of grace, along with compassion and benevolence rather than sacrifices that have no real meaning behind them.
God speaks of knowing us by our fruit. When people get away from
God in rebellion, they become indifferent to the people around them. Indifference translates into cruelty, hardness and superiority.
As these people become indifferent, the poor, the widows and the fatherless become more enslaved to their indifference.
For some, they find themselves at the unmerciful cruelty of these people. Since there is no real mercy present, needy people taste the cruelty of such indifference through being used and abused.
Concerning widows, they can find no compassion. In fact, they are neglected by such indifference. They feel the demands of life beginning to swallow them up as they go against the current of coldness. This indifference will not regard their plight, it will only see that they cannot serve its purpose; therefore, they are considered insignificant burdens.
For the fatherless, indifference meets them with contempt. It does not want to consider or regard such people. They are also a great burden that must be ignored, placated or put out of sight so the conscience can remain in its delusion.
God instructs His people to take care of the stranger, and those who are poor like the widows and the fatherless. We do have a responsibility, but all too often we are quick to offer sacrifices, while failing to show mercy towards those who are less fortunate.
Prayer: Lord, we praise Your name. You saved many of us when we were poor, and were without the proper care of others. You lifted us out of our despair and gave us a new identity, name and heritage. Amen.
